New York State requires that all dentists and dental hygienists take a mandated infection control training course once every four years as a requirement for renewing your registration (which takes place every three years).

The New York State Dental Foundation has developed a CD-ROM, Infection Control Training and Hazard Communication for The Dental Team. This package includes new CDC updates and recommendations not previously addressed for dentistry. It replaces the now outdated video previously offered by NYSDA.
