Gov. Spitzer signs NYSDA legislation

Legislation introduced by NYSDA has been signed by Governor Spitzer that will require dentists to:

  • complete an additional 15 hours of CE per registration period
  • maintain current CPR certification
  • complete a course in ethics/jurisprudence

"There is no question that this landmark legislation will set a precedent in New York and throughout the nation, and it is only a matter of time before other licensed professionals follow suit," said Roy E. Lasky, NYSDA Executive Director.
