An important Notice for Medicaid Facilities
March 4, 2010
In order to be eligible for reimbursement, clinics,
hospitals and other facilities must register all attending (service) providers
with the New York State Medicaid program. The facility must register both the National
Provider Identifier (NPI) and licenses for all practitioners affiliated with
the facility who are included as an attending (service) provider on
claims submitted to Medicaid by the facility.
