NYSDOH Announces MCO and MLTC Medicaid Program Integrity Report Filing Period

The New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) has announced that Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) and Managed Long Term Care (MLTC) providers are required to conduct an assessment of their conformity with all regulatory and contractual Medicaid program integrity obligations and to submit a report to the New York State Office of the Medicaid Inspector General (OMIG) in connection with their annual assessment.  This requirement is reflected in the Medicaid Managed Care Contract §18.5 (a)(xix), and the Managed Long Term Care Partial Capitation Contract Article VIII, §F (3)(e).  The required report must be filed between January 1, 2018, and January 31, 2018.  To read the OMIG requirements for filing the MCO and MLTC Medicaid program integrity reports, use the link below.
