HHS OIG Issues Report on NYSOH Establishment Grants

The Office of the Inspector General (OIG) of the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has issued a report on New York's use of the establishment grant monies it received to create the New York State of Health, the health benefits exchange in New York established under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA).  HHS OIG found that New York had misused $19.6 million of the grant monies for impermissible purposes.  To read the HHS OIG complete report on the NYSOH establishment grants, use the first link below.  To read the HHS OIG announcement and summary of the report on the NYSOH establishment grants, use the second link below.
