The New York State Education Department is implementing a new online registration application for all dentists, dental hygienists and certified dental assistants. Beginning in June, paper registration applications will be eliminated. The department states that the online registration process offers a timely, convenient and secure alternative for renewals.  The department will notify licensees about the change via regular mail with instructions for accessing renewals online.  No additional processing fees will be charged for online registration renewals paid with a credit card.  If required, licensees may request a paper renewal application.
