FTC Antitrust Decision Against Benco and Patterson Becomes Final

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) ruling against Benco Dental Supply Company and Patterson Companies, Inc., for conspiring to refuse to provide discounts to, or otherwise serve, buying groups representing dental practitioners has become final.  Neither of the two companies appealed the FTC decision.  The FTC had dismissed the complaint against Henry Schein, Inc., finding that it was not part of the conspiracy (see the NYSDA blog post from October 16, 2019, for more on this case).  To read the complete FTC decision in the Benco, Patterson, Schein antitrust case, use the first link below.  To read the FTC announcement and summary of the finality of the Benco, Patterson, Schein antitrust decision, use the second link below.
