Hallmarks of Excellence Award Criteria
Each year, the New York State Dental Association Hallmarks of Excellence Award recognizes outstanding local district programs in the following areas:
- Membership Enhancement: Outreach programs coordinated by component districts that recruit or help retain existing members.
- Education/Community Service: Courses and publications that enhance membership and encourage an exchange of information among members. Programs that put a "public face" on dentistry by providing education and/or services at schools, health fairs, libraries, and other community locations.
Submissions will be received by NYSDA, with a deadline of January 1, 2024, and then sent to the Membership Council for selection. The winners will be recognized at the NYSDA Hour of Delegate in June.
