From the University of Kansas Medical Center, The Accessible Oral Health 2025 ECHO series aims to build confidence in dental teams to better serve people with disabilities. Through didactic and case-based learning, participants will learn about intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), gain strategies and resources to improve care for patients with IDD, and discover ways to cultivate interprofessional collaboration to better support oral care patients with IDD.

The whole oral health care team, including dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, dental office leadership and staff, care coordinators and care managers, case workers, and patient navigators are invited to join our ECHO.

  • A Multidisciplinary Approach to Inclusive Oral Health Care
  • Behavioral Strategies to Improve Patient Experience and Cooperation
