Applications open for ADA Certified Clinic Director Program

Applications are now open for Year 2 of the ADA Certified Clinic Director (CCD) Program!

The CCD Program is a first-of-its-kind leadership development experience designed specifically for current and aspiring clinic directors practicing in a variety of dental care environments. The program focuses on strengthening operational leadership, communication, quality improvement, compliance, team management, financial oversight, and strategic decision-making skills critical to successful clinic leadership.

Following a highly successful inaugural cohort, the Year 2 program will welcome a limited cohort of participants (70) for an immersive experience that includes:

  • Live virtual learning sessions
  • Peer collaboration and accountability groups
  • Faculty-led discussions with subject matter experts
  • Applied leadership and operational learning
  • An in-person kickoff event hosted by the ADA

“What made CCD so valuable was the ability to get clear, practical answers to real leadership and operational challenges — especially in the live sessions — and immediately apply them to my day-to-day role,” said Monica Diba, D.D.S., a clinic director from California who participated in the 2025-26 program.

Priority consideration is given to individuals currently serving in a Clinic Director role, though aspiring clinic leaders are also encouraged to apply.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and space is limited.
